Pet friendly vacation rentals offer many benefits over a hotel for the families traveling with pets. Many pets are distressed by all the other noises in other hotel rooms and hallways that are common in hotels. Most hotels have limited space to walk a dog and little space to feed your pets and store their food. With a hotel there is always the worry that the house keeping staff will either let your pet get loose or stress them out. The biggest down fall of hotels is your pet only sees you when you are in the hotel room itself.

With pet friendly vacation rentals by Florida Spirit you and your pet enjoy an entire home with room to play and relax. With a private home your pet will not be distressed over other guest and have a private back yard to walk and play. All the pet friendly vacation rental communities have walking areas with little car traffic for exercise for both of you. The best part is our pet friendly vacation rentals all have screened in private swimming pools for the family and pets to enjoy together. Our pet friendly vacation rentals even have safety fences around the pools to protect kids and pets from the water when they are unsupervised.

"I first have to admit that renting a home for our vacation was not our first choice. We had booked two rooms at Disney's Coronado Springs... A week before we were to leave my sister adopted a cocker spaniel from a shelter. He had been in a puppy mill that had closed down up north. A rescue group came in and rescued him from being put to sleep... A shelter in Florida then got him from the rescue group. My sister fell in love with his picture and had to have the three month old puppy. So we traveled over two hours to go pick him up.
We have six other dogs and he fit in immediately. We took him to the doctor and they told us he was younger than what we thought and he couldn't have his puppy shots. Also, we would not be able to board him with the other dogs. My mom and dad said they would stay home with him, but we wanted to go as a family. We spent the whole night trying to find a place that would take dogs. We came across Florida Spirit Vacation Homes on the internet. We booked the home and cancelled our Disney reservation five days before we were to leave.
So we made it to the home with our cocker spaniel Teddy with us ready for our vacation. We were so happy with the house... We brought a play pen with us to put Teddy in when we went out to eat. We did not want him making any messes in the house. During the day the kids went to the park and mom and dad stayed with Teddy, they really enjoyed their time at the house during the day...
This vacation turned out to be one of the best. There was so much more room for us at the home than a hotel. It opened our eyes to getting a home for future visits. We were going to cancel our trip or my parent's were going to stay home. You literally saved our vacation. Thank you for the amazing memories and we hope to come back soon."
