"This was the 3rd consecutive year we have rented a home from Florida Spirit. We have been bringing a group of high school Seniors on their SR trip. The fact that we are away from all the "temptations for trouble" has been the selling point to rent a house. That and the pool and spa in the back yard. The kids absolutely love having that at their disposal. We had a last minute change, a mere 5 days before we were to arrive, in the assigned house-through no fault of Florida Spirit-but Florida Spirit bent over backwards to get all the new arrangements sorted out. As each succeeding class hears how much fun it was to rent a house it will become the standard for years to come. Florida Spirit has been great to work with and their prices can't be beat."

"My family of four shared our home with my brother's family of four and it was just great. The perfect amount of space while still enjoying being together. Everything was in good working order and shape, and we were just close enough to the attractions that brought us to Florida. The pool was awesome, so much so that we decided to take a day off from the parks and just hang by the pool, the next day when we pulled into Disney, my 4 year old nephew said "Dad, why are we here, can we go back to the pool at our house?" Really a great vacation, I have already recommended this home/company to friends. Having a comfy home to return to in the afternoons to catch a little break was a true blessing to our trip with four little ones.

"This is the second year in the row we've stayed at the Cilbec. I tell all my co-workers that they are crazy if they're considering renting a hotel in Orlando.....renting a home from Florida Spirit Vacation Homes is the only way to go! We were 7 adults and loved the Cilbec even more this year than last. We visited 4 theme parks, drove to Cocoa beach twice to spend time at the ocean, went deep-sea fishing for the day, went to downtown Disney 2 nights and had fantastic shopping experiences at the Premium & Prime outlets as well as the Florida Mall. In between all this, we lounged and bar-b-q by our private pool and relaxed in our beautiful home. I have recommended this type of vacation to anyone who listens to me!"

This vacation was a mini vacation but only in the amount of time spent in Florida. My mother Rita, my sister Nicky and I took a 5 day trip to get some time out of PA's cold weather. Being that this was my sister's first time in Florida, I wanted her to see everything. She could not get over how beautiful and private this home was. After a long day at Disney, we even got in the pool! What a fantastic time we had! Going there at least one to two times a year we always rent from Florida Spirit Vacation Homes and we won’t change that, this was the first time we went to get some information at the club house and you can be sure I will take advantage of the amenities that are offered in each gated community. "We like to visit Florida once each year and last year we stayed in a Florida Vacation Home provided by one of your Competitors. Although the stay was enjoyable and the home was lovely, the process to obtain the home was not simplified or "guest friendly" and a few of our expectations were not met. To make a long story short...Florida Spirit Homes has a very "easy" process in arranging and accessing your vacation home (which is truly appreciated---after all we are on vacation) and also all our expectations were met. We were able to preselect our home which is a big advantage. To receive the exact home which we had chosen was ideal. "We had a wonderful time at the Retreat at Windwood Bay. The home is amazing. We have 4 sons, and each had his own bedroom. They loved the pool and the game room. And the hot tub was perfect for my 3 year old to play in! I loved having my own kitchen so we could eat "at home", instead of meal after meal at restaurants. "We have used Florida Spirit homes several times. Each and every time has been wonderful!! This home was awesome. My husband and I have 9 children, this home provided plenty of room and a separate place for my husband and me as the master bedroom is separate from the other bedrooms. The pool was wonderful, and the kids were kept busy in the game room. We enjoyed exploring the nature that we encountered walking around in the undeveloped area behind the home. We even found an alligator and her babies there. As always, our stay was wonderful and we will stay in this home again."

"This house was great!!! We had the best time. This was the first time we stayed in a house while vacationing in Florida. Our granddaughters loved the house and the pool! "WOW, was the reaction as we all stepped into our home for the next 12 days. We all ran from room to room and was impressed with each room we saw. Everything was beautifully decorated. This is our third stay with you but the first at this home. We have never had any problems when staying at the homes. This home was very close to everything we enjoy doing, shopping, Disney, Old Town (Sky Coaster should be on everyone's bucket list) airports. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The beds were very comfortable. We used the pool every day. The games room was great especially since there was allot of cool weather this year. We would definitely stay here again. "First family vacation in many years. New additions to our family and other reasons to share time together. I rented this house in Florida as a Christmas present to my family with the hopes of coercing them all into going on vacation with me. First time ever to travel on vacation and not use local hotels. What a pleasant surprise, and one that my family and I have plans on repeating for hopefully many years to come. The house was perfect. It was clean, in a really good location and had all the amenities that you would need when travelling with young children. The pool and the hot tub were an added benefit. When we encountered two small problems help was there within the hour to fix both issues with no question. Not only on all our requirements for a good vacation now, but others as well. I own a restaurant and have passed this web site on to many of my customers who were waiting to hear how we enjoyed our experience. Not one person who went on this vacation would hesitate to rent a house in this way ever again. All of our family is able to be together in one house versus many rooms at a hotel. Everyone has their own room and space. However, we always were outside on the patio area or in the hot tub. "We arrived in our Disney home on a very cold night, but once we stepped through the doors, the weather was far from our mind. The house was very clean and was a lot larger than we had imagined. After everyone looked through the bedrooms we found the garage and the kids just started yelling! Out there was a pool table, a foosball table, air hockey and even darts. Hog heaven for my family! Everyday after the parks we would come home (as the kids called it), make our dinner and play games. There were even movies left there for us to watch. "The home was great the rooms good size and the pool and hot tub great. We had cold weather and the kids used the hot tub every night. Great for those long days at Disney when all that walking made us bone tired. We did have some issues that need to be addressed for future guest. No extra toilet paper and at midnight on Christmas Eve that was a really big problem. One of the beds had no sheets on the bed. Had to make the bed before going to sleep and after a day that started with a very early flight the one thing I didn't need was to make the bed at 1am. We did have a great vacation and would come and stay again."

"As grandparents, we needed a place that provided the boundless energy of 1 through 6 years olds the opportunity to blow off excess steam after a day of sensory overload at the area theme parks. We found renting a Florida Spirit Vacation home for a week was just the ticket. Swimming in the pool or one of the many provided diversions like air hockey gave the adults a little respite. It was a very cost effective way to visit Orlando in style while having the luxury of a full kitchen, a private pool, and totally soundproof walls. This will be our third time renting a home for an extended family vacation and we continue to be sold on the concept versus the hotel based alternatives. Based on the decibel level of the kids, we would have summarily been booted out of any hotel by Tuesday. Having our own house made all the difference."

"This was a long time planned Merekas family reunion. The Merekas family lived in Endicott NY. Our Greek Grandparents, Yaya and Papo, had five daughters, four of which married and had children. We cousins and children of the four Greek daughters started having reunions a few years back. It was our hope that we would remember and know each other throughout our lives and that our children would also know the each other. It is not an easy thing to remain united when distance is so great. We planned this, our third reunion for Thanksgiving in Orlando for quite awhile. Our reunion consisted of the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of the Greek sisters, and we were lucky to have one remaining Greek sister with us. At 91, Teddy (Theodora) was a joy to have at our Thanksgiving reunion. She resides in New Orleans and along with her son was displaced for a long time from their homes due to Katrina. The family members traveled from all over the country, Endicott NY, Chicago IL, Tucson AZ, New Orleans LA, Miami, Gainesville and Tampa Fl. Our stay in your homes was fabulous. We all met at Bishop’s Court to eat and we had so much fun. Everyone was impressed with how lovely the homes were and that there was room for all of us to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner together. Wednesday night, we planned Greek night and had Greek foods and desserts that we brought with us and haven't had in awhile. It was wonderful to remember back to the days of our Greek Grandparents and our Greek Mothers when we cousins were just children. We plan to have reunions every 18 months and would gladly come back to Orlando again in the future."

"We were eight adults from 4 states coming together for the Thanksgiving holiday. The home was beautifully appointed and the kitchen surprisingly well equipped. The oven has a timed setting so on Thanksgiving day we went to Animal Kingdom and arrived back at the house at 7:00 to a perfectly roasted turkey.
It rained one of the days of our stay and it was nice to come back and be able to dry our clothes in the full size machine. We never had any issue with enough hot water even though we used the washer, dishwasher and showers in quick succession.
If anything, the house was just too nice. With all the attractions in the surrounding area we just did not get to spend enough time enjoying the pool and game room. We will have to plan an "at home" day in our next vacation. We will definitely stay in one of your homes again.

"I wanted to let all of you know how much we enjoyed our home! I was very hesitant about staying at another rental home. I rented one in the Outer Banks a few years ago, and was so disappointed. The pictures of the home I rented in North Carolina were taken years earlier, and when we arrived, the home was "worn, dirty and not at all what I thought I paid for." After reading a few of the comments from recent guests of Florida Spirit, I decided to give renting another try. To my surprise the home we rented through Florida Spirit was even BETTER than the pictures! My kids LOVED the animal shaped towels on the bed! The neighborhood was quiet and in a gated community! We all felt save and secure!I have a family of 6 and wanted to do the Disney thing with my teenage kids."
"After looking at the prices of staying on property, it just was not worth it. Who would stay on Disney property for more than the cost of renting a home with your own private pool and hot tub? It was great to eat breakfast at the house and pack a lunch for the parks. (We saved even more money packing our lunches!!) We were also close enough to leave the hustle and bustle and come back for dinner, and return in the evening (you only pay for parking once at Disney and you are free to come and go for the day!) My husband is also a person who needs his down time and coming home to the hot tub, pool, and his own TV was the perfect thing! It even rained one day and we came home, dried our clothes and returned to the park in the evening. Also, the staff at Florida Spirit was AWESOME! They told me places in the area to find groceries and reassured me that the home I rented was one of the best!!
(I was having nightmares prior to arrival!)

"We had an Almost a Grand Gathering Disney vacation, with 9 family members staying at our vacation home. We loved the spacious house, and we all especially loved having our own bathrooms! The free pool heating also came in handy, as there were some evenings when the temperatures reached the low 50's! "This was one of the nicest vacations that we have had in Florida. The home was like a home away from home. We decided it was the best way to go. Our grandchildren loved it as well. The first thing they did was head for the pool. Each bedroom had a TV that helped since we all liked watching something different.
We were unable to get our key when we first arrived and had to call the office of Florida Spirit. Someone was out within ten minutes to give us another key. "Our second stay in this beautiful home proved to be as totally enjoyable as the first. Our initial test visit was with our children and grandchildren the week of Thanksgiving. It was simply delightful. Our grandson's eyes were as big as saucers when we opened the garage door and he saw the game room. The heated pool was the "hit" we expected it to be. Most special of all was the spacious room to relax and enjoy. It was just like being at home.

"What can I say. It was a fabulous house and an incredible vacation. We had never been down to Orlando and looking at staying on site at Disney just didn't make sense after we checked your houses out (and cheaper). The house was even better then pictured on the website and although we went in Feb it was not too cool in the pool! I couldn't figure out how to get the key code to work but someone came right out (20 minutes) and fixed the code. I liked that there was a 24 hour number to call if anything came up. Another thing is that this house sites bumped up against an Orange orchard which was nice since I had never seen and Orange tree. I have so many wonderful memories of Florida and will not hesitate to stay in a Florida Spirit home again. Thanks for a stress free vacation home!"

Thank you for making my first time renting a vacation home a very easy process. The home we rented was exactly as pictured and described on your web site.
There were 5 families that stayed in our 7 bedroom home. Ourselves, and our 4 daughters and there families. We had six little ones, ages 4 1/2 and under, running around our house and there was plenty of room. If you needed some "quiet" time, the beautiful resort club house and pool was an easy walk away.
Having the patio and pool right outside our patio door was great. It was hard to get the kids out of the pool and ready to go to Disney, they loved it so much.
Some people might wonder why anyone would choose to vacation with the entire family, all 16, under one roof, for an entire week ? I recommend it, for a wonderful time of bonding and learning to really appreciate each others differences. We're an even closer family for sharing this experience.

"We had such a great vacation! We found the home very easily, even though it was dark when we arrived. We loved that we had a pool and hot tub. The hot tub ended be our life-saver. After walking the parks all day, we were tired and our legs and feet were super sore, but the hot tub saved our bacon! If we were getting tired during the day, we just reminded each other that we had the hot tub waiting for us when we got back. The house itself was very comfortable! We loved the lay-out and being the cook, I enjoyed the open kitchen and didn't feel cut off from the rest of the family while cooking. The location of the house was perfect! We went to Universal Studios, Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Cape Canaveral and we found that we were close to everything and had easy access to all attractions. We were all very thankful that we had such a wonderful trip without any hiccups, especially since this was our first trip to the East Coast. "We just spent a wonderful week in Florida944. This is the first time that we stayed in a vacation rental home instead of a hotel -- and it was perfect.
It was great to get back from Disney and use the pool and spa in peace and quiet. It's actually nicer than the pictures! The keys were in a lock-box, so we just drove right to the house. The house was super clean and had plenty of towels and pillows. Everyone gets their own room, no squeezing into hotel double beds, no waiting for 1 bathroom. The beds were very comfortable, the master bathroom was fantastic.
We'd definitely recommend this house - especially if you're bringing kids, it works out much less expensive than staying at Disney. We made breakfast each morning (in our pajamas!), saving lots on meal costs and not suffering all morning from heavy fast food.

"First, and foremost- we have stayed in this complex TWICE before, but used a different rental company. I can honestly say, Florida Spirit is the ONLY company will use form NOW ON! Our original trip was scheduled the week of Christmas. Our son broke both bones in his fore arm a week before we were scheduled to arrive. Due to the severity of the breaks, he would not be allowed to go on any jarring rides, or swim in the pool. While we were well aware of the cancellation policy, Florida Spirit, and Fran, were EXTREMELY flexible and accommodating in allowing us to re-schedule our trip to a later date. This meant a GREAT deal to us, as our son is 16, and attends a private school. Therefore, his schedule, and that of our daughter, (who is in public school), never coincide. This was our ONE family vacation, and we were fortunate enough to be able to enjoy it at a later date.
The ease of check in far surpassed that of the "other" company we had dealt with. The accommodations were beautiful, warm and inviting. Like many, special memories were had just spending time together at the pool, watching movies, and moving at our own pace and schedule. Summer is very hot to be traveling in Florida, but the pool and house allowed for a welcome respite from the heat. We have only been home in CT. for four hours, and already recommended Florida Spirit to two of our neighbors! Thank you all for your kindness and attentiveness. We enjoyed a week of much laughter, close bonding, and unforgettable memories!"

"I first have to admit that renting a home for our vacation was not our first choice. We had booked two rooms at Disney's Coronado Springs... A week before we were to leave my sister adopted a cocker spaniel from a shelter. He had been in a puppy mill that had closed down up north. A rescue group came in and rescued him from being put to sleep... A shelter in Florida then got him from the rescue group. My sister fell in love with his picture and had to have the three month old puppy. So we traveled over two hours to go pick him up.
We have six other dogs and he fit in immediately. We took him to the doctor and they told us he was younger than what we thought and he couldn't have his puppy shots. Also, we would not be able to board him with the other dogs. My mom and dad said they would stay home with him, but we wanted to go as a family. We spent the whole night trying to find a place that would take dogs. We came across Florida Spirit Vacation Homes on the internet. We booked the home and cancelled our Disney reservation five days before we were to leave.
So we made it to the home with our cocker spaniel Teddy with us ready for our vacation. We were so happy with the house... We brought a play pen with us to put Teddy in when we went out to eat. We did not want him making any messes in the house. During the day the kids went to the park and mom and dad stayed with Teddy, they really enjoyed their time at the house during the day...
This vacation turned out to be one of the best. There was so much more room for us at the home than a hotel. It opened our eyes to getting a home for future visits. We were going to cancel our trip or my parent's were going to stay home. You literally saved our vacation. Thank you for the amazing memories and we hope to come back soon."

Wow, I can truly say that our stay over there was unforgettable! "The house was great and just what we expected. We love the idea of the pool alarm, we have a set of 3 year old twins and they loved the water. We also have 3 other kids who are 11, 10, and 7. The idea of having to rent 2 rooms at one of the resorts is out of the question now that we have stayed in the Florida Spirit Vacation Homes for the last 4 years. It was nice to be able to come "home" to our vacation home, to relax and not have to worry about having to go down to the pool so the kids could swim. With as many picky eaters as we do it was nice to cook for them and not spend as much money on resort food. Sure the resorts were nice but with the number of people we had in our party, we would be broke."

“First of all let me start off by thanking the owners of Ashe Magnolia for allowing us to re-book our stay for this year due to a family illness last Feb. My son-in-law is fully recovered and he said it was the best vacation we've taken. What can I say about the beautiful home we were lucky enough to rent. The house was gorgeous and beautifully decorated. The property management did a super job and we didn't need to do a thing but walk in and unpack. Loved dealing with Florida Spirit. You gave me some suggestions on the homes but you picked my family a winner with the Ashe Magnolia. My four year old grandson refers to it as our Florida home. Florida Spirit gave us such a positive experience that we have already recommended it to some fellow workers at my daughter's workplace. We all agree that we would like to use Florida Spirit again to book our next trip. We found it so convenient to go up to 192 and get to Disneyworld in a matter of minutes. And 192 offered great restaurant choices. The Publix which was practically across from the Tuscan Hills was so convenient-there was even a fresh strawberry tent set up down on Hwy 27 near us. “We really enjoyed our vacation. The house was beautiful. Sometimes when you see pictures the house is nothing like the pictures but in this case the house was just like the pictures. I brought my nieces and nephews for Christmas, they said that the house had so many things for them to do they never got bored. Their ages were 4-35; the old had just as much fun in the house as the young. They loved the game room and the computer room. They made good use of the video games in the house so everybody had something to do. My twelve year old nephew informed me that he was going to make a lot of money so he could buy this house and we would never have to go home. My dad was looking at some of the vacant houses on the street because he did not want to come home. The house had so many rooms that I never knew where no one was and it was twelve people in the house. My room was so big with a big walk in closet and a huge bathroom. On Friday we were suppose to go to MGM studios but the children stated that they wanted to stay at the house and go swimming and enjoy the house. I really enjoyed this house and I would stay here again. I recommend this house to everyone because it is child oriented little and big.”

"Words can't describe how impressed I was with the beautiful home we stayed in during our recent family vacation. Though I had viewed the photos and virtual tour online numerous times, you are always a little leery when you haven't had a chance to see something for yourself. The only thing I can say is the pictures didn't do the home justice. Also, I was pleasantly surprised to find some things that were not mentioned in the listing such as a hairdryer and iron (I had forgotten mine) were included as well as the adorable games table in the kids' room where each drawer had a different board game! A pleasant surprise for the kids who definitely took advantage of that nice little extra. Even though you come home exhausted from the parks, you do need to unwind and that, combined with the pool and a TV in every room, kept everyone happy and occupied. I told my husband that from now on I wouldn't think of staying at a hotel...there's nothing like having your own kitchen and laundry room. I actually went home with all clean clothes and was able to simply go home and put all my clothes away! No dirty clothes! I have already recommended your homes to family and friends and can't wait to come back to the area again. I've already started looking to see what house I want to stay in next year! The kids had a great time and loved the pool...they even wanted to leave the parks early just to go back to the house for a swim. This was definitely one of the best vacations we have had. We'd stayed in a Florida Spirit Vacation Home once before, and enjoyed that house too, but my daughter kept begging me to stay in a 2 story home this time. I almost didn't, but when I saw this house I knew it was the home for us. My family of 5, including me, was all very excited to get to the house. We looked at it online almost once a day just waiting to be swimming in the pool getting a nice Florida tan and also escaping from this cold, Wisconsin winter. The neighborhood was so welcoming, as if we were moving in forever and the house was incredible! When we got to the house it was better than we'd ever dreamed. Everybody had their own room and each room had such a distinct look. Remarkable enough, it seemed that one room fit one person. We almost wanted to stay at home more than we wanted to go sight seeing & to the parks. We felt so comfortable, as if we were in our own home. The 2 youngest of my family enjoyed playing in the game room in the evening & us older 3 enjoyed sitting out in the pool area sipping on margaritas, soaking in the Florida atmosphere. The trip was incredible and seemed to make our family just a little bit closer. We found what made each other tick and when we did we had enough room to cool down and then have fun again. We felt as if the house was a way of learning about each other again, since we'd just lost my brother, who was a father, husband & uncle to others on the trip. We took countless number of photos, from being in the pool to in front of the house to taking a photo of every room the day before we left. We didn't want to forget any little detail about this house, since it was our home away from home. The service that we received from the Florida Spirit Vacation Home employees was amazing! If we had any problem, an informed employee was just a dial of a finger away. Florida Spirit is next to none in comparison. We have recommended Florida Spirit to anybody and everybody that we have found was going to Florida for a vacation. We anticipate our next stay in Florida which will obviously be in a Florida Spirit Vacation Home.

"The amenities and location of this property were exactly what we expected them to be, terrific. Our family, 7 adults and 1 child, were very comfortable and everyone had plenty of privacy when they so desired. Every day someone visited a local attraction while others stayed around the house / pool and just relaxed. We played on several local area golf courses and found them to offer the right kind of challenge for my average game. "First of all, I would like to say how much we enjoyed the home that we stayed in. It was perfect for 3 adults and 3 kids. We actually had to drag the kids out of the pool to get them to Disney World! We had perfect 85 degree Florida weather so relaxing by the pool was wonderful. My vacation story is about our 5 year old daughter. We took her on the Stitch (ride) at Magic Kingdom. When we were back outside after the ride, I noticed she was crying. When I asked her what was wrong, she said Stitch was a bad alien and should be punished because he spit on her. I tried to explain that it was just water and part of the ride, but she still did not believe me. She is still talking about Stitch and refuses to watch one of her favorite movies, Lilo and Stitch. I would like to thank the owners of Our Spangled Manor for renting it to vacationers like ourselves. The house was so clean - we were so comfortable there."
