These homes are not ADA approved, but have been specially designed with wheelchair users in mind. The door ways are wider, the master bathrooms have roll-in showers and lowered counters & sinks so that the wheelchair user can easily reach what they need. The kitchens, however, have not been retrofitted for wheelchairs. These wheelchair friendly vacation homes were specially designed as the home owners had the need for themselves or a loved one that travels with them. Florida Spirit Vacation Homes can assist you in the rental of equipment for the disabled member(s) of the party, including hoists that are designed to help them easily get in and out of the private pool your wheelchair friendly vacation home will have.
