"We left a very cold Chicago hoping for a nice warm trip. We got off the plane and my daughter was ready to kiss the Florida ground. Unfortunately our stroller did not come off the plane with our other luggage. We had to rent an 8-passenger van, and once we located it in the parking lot we realized the battery was dead! It was late, we had a baby with us, and everyone just wanted the vacation to start on a good note. Eventually an airport assistant arrived and jumped the vehicle and we were now on our way. At a fast food place just a mile from our Florida Spirit home the van died again! A nice Florida resident jumped the vehicle again and we got home uneventfully. The excitement was unbelievable once we opened the home! By now it was past 11 pm, but everyone was so totally enamored with the beauty of the house and the welcoming of the pool that they all went in the water! Vacation had STARTED!! The next day, the van was replaced, the stroller arrived, and our Florida friends came over for a day in the pool. All the kids had a wonderful time, all the moms and dads had a really nice visit, and all the dads swam with the kids! This ranked as one of the best vacations we've ever had, and I KNOW our home away from home was one of the major reasons! I will rent from Florida Spirit Homes again in a HEARTBEAT! I can't wait until we CAN do it again. My grandson summed it up perfectly: "I am One Lucky Boy!"
