The luxurious community is nestled away from the busy Interstate 4 highway, but still in a great location with access to surrounding restaurants and shopping plazas. These large homes are pure luxury and are the quintessential option for large groups traveling together.

Family reunion groups. Sports teams. Wedding parties. Large groups traveling together find these homes to be the best economic option for them. Larger homes have the capacity to house groups of people, while still allowing for each person to claim their own space within the home.

The Retreat at ChampionsGate is pure luxury and style. The community is highly guarded with maximum security. Upon arrival you see the golf course and golfers enjoying the putting greens. The community is quiet and relaxing, travelers enjoy the outside surrounding as well.

Downtown Disney Transformation : Disney Springs

Downtown Disney continues to transform their venue into Disney Springs! The Walt Disney Resort has added two dining locations – Morimoto Asia and The Boathouse. Both of the restaurants added onto the property are new eating venues, where people will be able to enjoy different types of cuisine.

Here’s a firsthand look at some of the changes that are happening:

The “Springs Bottling Co.” marquee was recently installed above the future location of Morimoto Asia.  This architectural detail is a nod to the design story behind Disney Springs, which was inspired by Florida’s waterfront towns at the turn-of-the-century.

Right next to the recently announced site for The BOATHOUSE, the Waterview Stage is now offering nightly entertainment, along with beautiful views of Village Lake. Encourage your Guests to check a Times Guide for show times.

Just last week, the Food Trucks at Exposition Park on the West Side was established as the permanent home for the owned-and-operated Downtown Disney food trucks. From chicken and waffles to tandoori spiced shrimp, the food trucks will offer a variety of delicious culinary creations daily.  This area will also offer additional seating for diners, as well as shaded areas during the day.

Finally, The Landing – the first phase of Disney Springs – is starting to come to life with a new pedestrian walkway now open between Portobello Yacht Club and Paradiso 37. Later this month, the walkway will be fully open and provide direct access to the West Side.

Stay tuned to Disney Travel News for more details regarding this exciting transformation.

Florida Spirit is delighted to know that the wonderful changes and additions to Downtown Disney will help keep the venue fresh and exciting for future guests. Our vacation homes are minutes away from Downtown Disney, and easily accessible when you’re on-the-go during your vacation. Whether you’re going to see a movie with your family or grabbing dinner at one of their five-star restaurants, there is always something to see or do there!

Orlando Water Parks

Inspired by a whimsical take on the South Seas, Aquatica at SeaWorld Orlando immerses guests in the playfulness of the sea, them in, over and under the water with the world’s most unique water rides and animal encounters.

Located in Orlando, just minutes from the Kissimmee destination, Aquatica mixes animal experiences, waters from serene to extreme, high speed waterslide thrills and wide, sandy beaches to create a day of non-stop fun.

For dolphin lovers, Dolphin Plunge is a must do, taking you down 250 feet of clear tubes underwater and through Aquatica’s beautiful Commerson’s dolphin habitat.  Guests who prefer to see these stunning black-and-white marine mammals without taking the plunge may sneak a peek at Dolphin Lookout.

Omaka Rocka is a waterslide that takes riders speeding down flumes into massive funnels, sliding high up one side and then the other, rocking back and forth, feeling a sensation of near weightlessness.  Coming out of the funnel, they skim into a drenching splashdown and then find themselves wanting to do it all over again.

Visitors can catch a wave in the world’s only side-by-side wave pools capable of operating together or independently. Filled with a combined 860,000 gallons of water, these enormous wave pools deliver very different experiences. Cutback Cove produces crashing waves while Big Surf Shores creates gently-rolling surf – either way they’re a lot of fun!

There are two distinct areas for the little ones: Walkabout Waters, an interactive water playground for the school-agers; and Kata’s Kookaburra Cove, an irresistible water wonderland for children with fountains, rides and slides. Tiny tots – even those too young to walk – can enjoy sliding with mom and dad in specially designed rafts.
